Audrey invites Grant to move in with her since it does not make sense for two people to occupy two large houses when they could easily share. Grant agrees. They host the next book club meeting together. A discussion takes place to celebrate the upcoming thirtieth anniversary of the club. Merit suggests they reread some of the books they have read in the past. When the night is over, Slip tells Audrey and Grant her cancer has returned.

Slip gives a good fight, but it seems obvious to most of the housewives that her disease is getting the better of her. Slip refuses to let go, but she does make a few suggestions on who should replace her in the book club should the worst...
