Detective Harry Bosch
Detective Harry Bosch is a homicide with the Los Angeles Police Department. As Harry is waiting for his wife to come home, he receives a phone call instructing him to gather his team and go to the site of a homicide. A man and woman have been murdered on Angels Flight, a vertical train that runs at Bunker Hill in downtown Los Angeles. The man, it turns out, is the lawyer, Howard Elias. Elias has made a career of suing the Los Angeles Police Department; therefore, the police department realizes that investigating his murder will be a delicate operation that must be handled in a careful, precise manner. Harry is to run the investigation and accept the help of members of the IAD.
