Chapters 71-80 Summary

Langdon scans the rooftops for a church, seeing nothing. He tries again, thinking that all churches might not have visible spires or bell towers. He knows that Rome has changed dramatically since the 1600s, so the church might not even be standing anymore. He wonders how the Swiss Guard is faring in their search for the antimatter.

Glick and Macri continue to watch the church, where the Swiss Guards are preparing to do something. Macri trains the camera on the line that forms from the church to the back of a vehicle. She sees a dead body. Meanwhile, at CERN, Maximillian Kohler wheels into Leonardo Vetra's study and begins shifting through files. Not finding anything, he moves on to other rooms. He finds what he is looking for in the top drawer of the bedside table.
