Hopewell

Hopewell is the main setting of "Angel Fire East." It is a small town in Illinois where Nest Freemark lives.

Sinnissippi Park

Sinnissippi Park is the park in Hopewell to which Pick is assigned to maintain the balance of magic. Nest cannot move away from Hopewell because, like many of her female ancestors, she must serve the Word by helping Pick. Gask attacks Nest and the children during their toboggan ride in the park, and later, he tricks Bennett into jumping off the cliffs after providing her with an excessive amount of heroine.
