Section 12: Chapter 21 & Chapter 22 Summary

In Chapter 21, Nest walks to a payphone the next morning to call an electrician and a telephone repair man. She is puzzled and pleased by the change in Little John who would barely let go of her last night, and she knows his change has something to do with Wraith; he was excited and hopeful when Wraith was across the room but devastated when Wraith returned to Nest. Ross suggest that maybe Nest is being asked to make a choice to give up one magic for another. On the way home, Nest wonders if the gypsy morph wants her to choose him over Wraith, but she does not know how to get rid of Wraith, though she has always wanted to.
