Chapter 33

Several weeks pass. Scarlet works hard on her research for the Fountain of Youth, but she does it outside the house because Laura is odd about it. One day, while researching, Scarlet has a memory in which she remembers hiding an arrow that she knows will kill someone in a secret compartment of an antique wardrobe.

Chapter 34

Scarlet rushes over to the cabin to tell Gabriel. When she arrives, the cabin appears empty. Scarlet searches everywhere, ending up in Tristan’s room. Scarlet recognizes the wardrobe in his room as the one from her memory. Then Scarlet sees Tristan emerge from the bathroom with his shirt off. Scarlet is shocked to see that he has a tattoo that matches the symbol she has been drawing on everything since waking in the woods. Scarlet suspects that Tristan is not telling her something important...
