Chapter 25

Gabriel arrives at Nate’s apartment and convinces him of how important it is for him to go to Georgia to help with Scarlet.

Chapter 26

Tristan is uneasy the next day because he nearly lost control with Scarlet. At the same time, Scarlet is bored. She is disturbed by her thoughts about Tristan. As she sits watching television, Scarlet takes a pen and begins drawing the symbol on her hip and belly. Tristan finds her doing this and becomes angry, insisting that she stop. This makes Scarlet think that Tristan knows something about the symbol.
