Summary
Chapter 9
Heather continues to harp on Gabriel’s apparent dishonesties. This makes Scarlet analyze her relationship with Gabriel, especially the fact that she does not even know where he lives. For this reason, Scarlet asks Gabriel if she can go to his house to study that day, but he lies and tells her the house is being fumigated. This causes Scarlet’s doubts to grow, so when she sees him get into a car she does not recognize, she decides to follow. Scarlet follows Gabriel to a house in the woods. When Gabriel goes inside a house that is clearly not being fumigated, she knocks on the door. It is opened by someone who looks like Gabriel, but it's not. It's his twin brother Tristan.
