Summary
In Chapter 58, Jessica waits in a conference room after turning herself in at Homestead Air Force Base. A woman brings a phone to Jessica, telling her that someone wants to speak to her. It is Voigt. Once the woman has left, Voigt tells Jessica she is talking on an encrypted line and suggests that they talk freely. She tells Voigt that all she knows is that she has been being tracked across the country by FBI agents as if she were a criminal. Voigt suggests they might just have wanted to know if she was okay since she disappeared from the VA hospital after her hike.
