Summary
In Chapter 36, the next night, Mireille kissed Michael, trying to remember him and force the memories of the other men out of her mind. She believed she needed to have sex with Michael so that he would not leave her. He made her stop because he knew she did not want to have sex with him.
The next morning, Lorraine warned Mireille that she was not ready to leave. Mireille said she knew she was not, but she also did not want Michael to leave her.
