Summary
In Chapter 18, one day during tea, the Bridgerton sisters were comparing their brothers. They could not come up with a skill at which Benedict excelled. Sophie spoke up and said that he excelled at art. Sophie sensed she had made a mistake since her family seemed curious to know how Sophie knew about this when they did not.
The conversation was interrupted when Penelope arrived. Sophie studied Penelope and realized that Penelope was studying her as well. Penelope finally asked Sophie if they had met before. As Sophie continued to look at Penelope, she realized they had met at the masquerade. Sophie had helped Penelope up when a man had knocked her to the floor in his hurry to get to Sophie.
