Summary
In Chapter 65, narrated by Shields, Shields thinks about how she created a shorter version of the notes about her last visit with April because she feared her notes might be subpoenaed. Shields destroyed the original notes but remembers the content of those notes. A copy of the notes is included: April suddenly begins crying and indicates she is still thinking about the man she brought home with her from the bar. April tells Shields that she did not tell her the entire story before. She says the man is a therapist who she saw for only one session. Shields says that April is not at fault but believes that a therapist who sleeps with a patient should lose his license.
