Chapters 11 and 12 Summary

In Chapter 11, while Hassan and Lindsey "go cruising" on the fifth day in Gutshot, Colin stays home to read. When Hassan returns from hanging out with Lindsey and her friends, Hassan tells Colin he shared a beer with Lindsey. Hassan also tells Colin they have plans to spend the weekend in the woods to hunt pigs.

In Chapter 12, a week later, Colin wakes to the rooster and Hassan's morning prayers. Hassan says he isn't going to work today because Thursday is when Hollis goes in to the factory. Hollis also drives to the warehouse in Memphis after visiting the factory, just to check on everything. Hollis tells Colin that they'll be interviewing the people at the old folk's home today. As Lindsey and Colin drive to the old folk's home, Lindsey tells Colin she looked over his notebook and she thinks...
