Chapter 17 Summary

Rock City is an attraction made up of ornamental gardens and caverns located on top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia. The gods and mythical creatures begin assembling at Rock City for the war. Laura, who is sitting with Shadow, knows he has forgiven her for cheating on him. She stayed with him while he died. She goes to the farmhouse of the three women, and they give her water. The water makes her throw up maggots and bugs. The water is the water of time, and it makes Laura alive again. She leaves the farmhouse.

Mr. Town in driving to a place called Ashtree farm, which is where the World Tree is. Mr. World asked Mr. Town to get him a stick from the tree. He gets the stick and stabs Shadow in the side before leaving. Easter is at Rock City, waiting...
