Summary
This section switches its focus from Hero and zones in on Rosalyn’s perspective; the narrative goes back in time to provide her backstory and then to quickly recount the plotline of the book thus far from her point of view.
We learn that the first time she “ate a girl out” was in 1985 after her and Jaime “had more or less broken up” (279). Her friendship with Jaime is described as closer than family. We learn that she dropped out of theatre school and discovered her love of makeup when she worked backstage.
