The Alpha desperately wants to get the copies of the video that Malik took on his phone because it is proof that they sold weapons illegally to the Iranians. Malik took video of the American weapons being loaded onto his uncle’s truck. If this video were to get to the FBI, it would threaten Valor’s ability to stay in business.

The American weapons are symbols of betrayal. Americans illegally sold these weapons to Iranians who used them to kill Americans in a staged ambush. The purpose of the ambush was to kill all of the people who had information about the Iranians having possession of the American weapons.
