Chapters 28 through 30 Summary

Chapter 28 finds Becks waking up early the morning after ExtravaBAMSa. Her friends have slept over, but they spent the night crying themselves to sleep. Becks slips out of the house, planning to surf, but when she spots Austin down the beach, she is too embarrassed to see him so she goes back inside, realizing that no matter how hard you try, you can't make someone like you. Seeing her father in the kitchen, she asks if he can take her to a different beach to surf today.

In Chapter 29, Coco returns home to find that her mother has set up an elaborate breakfast buffet for her. Cardammon says that perhaps she has pushed Coco too hard to be a pop star and dancer, but Coco says it was what she wanted. However, she wonders if her mother is suggesting that she...
