Summary
After Yunjae told Dr. Shim about the butterfly incident, they discussed the meaning of friendship. Dr. Shim encouraged Yunjae to visit Gon.
At Gon's house, Yunjae noticed how polite he was to the housekeeper. At the mention of his father, Gon's demeanor changed. He hated Professor Yun because he had not let him see his mother. The only thing Gon remembered about her were her hands. Gon asked Yunjae which of them he thought was "more miserable" given the losses of their mothers (78). Then he confessed he visited Yunjae because he never judged him, and because he wanted to know about his mother. Yunjae said they looked alike, describing her face. Gon cried.
