Summary
In Chapter 10, set now, Quinn enjoys the time she and Graham spend with Graham’s family because she can be affectionate with Graham, but not worry about the affection progressing to sex.
In Chapter 11, set then, Graham makes Quinn feel beautiful by his reaction when he sees her unclothed for the first time. Since Quinn has no food in her apartment, Graham goes out to get breakfast. He brings back a variety of foods because he does not know what Quinn likes.
Graham tells Quinn that he kept their fortunes from the night of the infidelity. He claims that their fortunes each had the number 8 on their backs. When Quinn asks if he is kidding, he laughs and says that he is. He says that he does still have the fortunes, however.
Graham’s mother calls and invites him to dinner that evening...
