Summary
Cindy confronts her father about Chung and quickly realizes the futility of expecting her father to respond to her questions and. Despite spending her birthday weekends with her father and stepmother every year, Cindy finds an excuse at work to avoid confronting her father. Cindy feels terrible about hiding information from her stepmother, who was the only person consistently providing her with stability and genuine kindness.
