Sarah Jacqueline Crow

Sarah, or Sarah Jac, as most of the characters call her, is a young woman who is living in a desolate world with few options available. She is a skilled farm laborer and works well with horses. Sarah has faced tragedy and brutality in her short life, and she has tried to make herself into a hard-hearted person in order to deal with the hardships she knows lie ahead. While she is in love with James Holt, they introduce themselves as cousins.
