Summary

The next chapter is titled “Andrew.” Andrew believes that Jamie would choose to join Howard's group if not for Andrew's presence. He has begun to like Jamie as more than a friend, but feels he is not worthy of Jamie's company. He knows Jamie is the kind of person who would go to Alexandria because it is the right thing to do, and all those factors prompt Andrew to leave. He is traveling slowly because of his injury. Andrew hides under an abandoned car on the road when he hears a strange sound approaching. He is relieved that it is Jamie, then angry that Jamie left the security of his home.
