Chapters 29 through Epilogue Summary
In chapter thirty-nine, Amanda is in the hall when a group of hockey players push past here, one of them saying, "Amanda, get your fat ass out of the way." She goes immediately to her room, strips and looks at herself in the mirror. She believes that the word "fat" is an accurate description. She decides that she must take control of her body immediately but has a headache and takes a pill from Tess's supply of migraine medications along with a Xanax.
