Summary

In Chapter 23, Forrester tried to get Sean to admit that Jenny made him happy. Instead, he learned that Sean bonded with his son at a baseball game. Happy to hear his progress, Forrester told him that the spontaneous feeling was love. Forrester said Sean, 25, had not missed a group meeting since Jenny, 16, joined and admitted that in one of her sessions, Jenny confessed that they met sometimes and drove out of town together so they would not be recognized. Forrester did not tell Sean, but postulated that he felt this love for his son because of his connection to Jenny. Their experience with the mind-altering treatment was a bond that they exclusively shared.
