Summary

Page 247, Quinn has trouble sleeping. He tosses and turns, wondering how people could be so worried about basketball scouts when all he could think about was Rashad. Upon reflection, Quinn feels like he had run away from the situation. But today was the end of running away, he decides he will no longer run away from this problem. So he searches through his drawers and pulls out a black permanent marker and a plain white t-shirt, and on the front he writes "I'm marching", and on the back "are you?" (252).

When he arrives at school, the shirt evokes a range of reactions from his peers. Dwyer pulls Quinn aside and reminds him that the coach forbid the team from going to the march. Quinn pulls away, and says people should be able to go to the march if they want. Guzzo was nowhere...
