Alcatraz Island

Alcatraz Island is a steep island located in the middle of San Francisco Bay, off the coast from San Francisco. Alcatraz is the most highly-guarded prison complex in America, housing more than 200 of the country’s worst criminals. It is overseen by Warden Williams and numerous guards. There are even a large number of residential families who live on the island, as they are the families of the guards themselves. Alcatraz is accessible only by ferry boat, which runs to and from San Francisco several times a day. Moose and the other kids generally enjoy life on Alcatraz Island, though they are not thrilled with having to deal with guards like Trixle.
