Sunny’s Home

Sunny’s home is where she spends the most time when she is not at school or in Leopard Knocks. Here, she lives with her mother, father, and two brothers Ugonna and Chuckwu. While it is more modern than a place like Chichi’s, Sunny feels stifled in her home, mostly because her parents do not give her the same freedom they give to her brothers. It is here that she does most of her studying and meets both the Ghost Hoppers and Della as she progresses through the world of the Leopard People. Even though her father essentially disowns Sunny at the end of the novel, her mother protects her so she is able to still live at home.
