Chapters 4-6 Summary

Shocked that Nikki has a brother she didn't know about, Em brings Steven, the brother, up to the apartment, where Lulu flirts with him. However, Steven has more somber news, and is very upset with "Nikki": their mother has been missing for three months, and Em has ignored all of Steven's messages, because of all the fake relatives who have tried to contact her after her amnesia was made public. Steven talks about their former life and is horrified that Nikki has hidden or denied so much of it during her new life in New York. Suddenly suspicious, Em asks if he can prove that he is her brother. He pulls out his wallet and shows her several family photos of Nikki at various stages in her life.
