Summary

Dinesh and Sunny are together in Lucknow, the year is 2006. Dinesh is seriously worried about Sunny's mental state, as Sunny, now hopeless and purposeless, is slipping into a deep drug-fueled depression. Dinesh is trying to talk to Sunny about the future. Bunty bankrolled Dinesh's father, Ram Singh, into office and in exchange Ram Singh allows Bunty to do whatever he wants in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Dinesh has empathy for the people, and knows that he and Sunny can break the cycle of abuse. Dinesh proposes teaming up together against their fathers, but Sunny is unresponsive.
