In "The Handsome Babe Magnet Rides Again," Jeffery says that any time a cancer survivor begins a friendship with a girl that might turn into a relationship, there's the requirement to have "the conversation" in which the cancer is revealed. He saw the difficulties in the relationship between Steven and Annette and says the discussion about cancer complicates things even more.
