Social media is pitted against traditional media to explore the role media plays in upholding and dismantling racism. Chiamaka and Devon are targeted by a racist secret society because of their race. They both dreamt of graduating from high school and entering into some of the finest institutions in the world, Yale and Julliard. However, after Aces destroys them socially by spreading rumors about sex-tapes, theft, and hit-and-runs, both Devon and Chiamaka are ready to drop out of their elite boarding school and give up on their ambitions.
