Chapters 67 and 68 Summary

They are having a birthday party for Maybe and a going away party for Ted at the observatory. Jess is there with the taco truck and she's paying off the security guards in food because the observatory is closed. Ted tells Maybe that he got the DNA results back from the DNA test he sent in for himself and found out that he is half Chinese and half French, so he has to break it to his adoptive parents that he isn't Thai after all. Gloria de la Tour shows up demanding that Ted stay and work for her. Ted introduces Chessy as his replacement. Ted asks Maybe if she likes Hollywood at all. She says as a friend.
