Chapters 49 and 50 Summary

Sammy and Willow pick Maybe up from the police station. On the ride home, Willow lets them drive with the top down. When they get to the house, Ted and Hollywood are already there. Hollywood apologizes to Maybe and tells her when he tried to tell her in the car she said she already knew. He says he would never do anything to hurt her as tears well up in his his. Maybe apologizes and then punches Hollywood in the face.

Maybe hacks off her hair. Willow continues to eat. Maybe hasn't gone to work in four days but Jess drops off a bag if food by the door in her way home every day. Ted drops off a DVD of Hollywood's movie in the mailbox.
