Chapters 29 and 30 Summary

When Sammy gets home, he tells Maybe that he got her a job as a nanny. Maybe explains to Sammy and Willow that since Willow mentioned the Santa Anas were coming to visit that Maybe cleaned the house. Willow bursts out laughing and Sammy tries ti stifle a laugh as he explains the Santa Anas are winds that drive the whole town crazy.

Maybe meets with Tessa, who is the mother of the triplets she'll be babysitting for. Tessa agrees to pay Maybe $11 an hour to work Monday through Friday and some weekends when Tessa and her husband have events to attend. Maybe visits Jess at the taco truck and it occurs to her that she could work for Jess instead. Maybe begs Jess to hire her and Jess relents.
