Chapters 27 and 28 Summary

Over breakfast, Sammy tells Maybe he spoke to Chessy and that she says Maybe can stay with him. He tells Maybe he expects her to get a job or do something that kids her age are doing. When Sammy leaves for a photo shoot and Willow for an audition, Maybe decides to clean the house to thank Sammy for letting her stay. When she finishes four hours later, the cleaning lady shows up to clean.

Maybe leaves the house to get out of the cleaning lady's way. She wanders until she comes across a taco truck. She asks the girl if she is still serving. The girls says officially no, but offers to make something for Maybe. Four tacos and a soda later, Maybe and the girl have been chatting. She says she'll see Maybe tomorrow.
