Summary
Labyrinths - The author describes purchasing of drugs from a street junkie / dealer and then taking them to her mother’s home to where she was staying with her brother. She writes that he was actually her half-brother, but adds that as far as she were concerned, they were a full brother and sister. She then describes how this time in her life was similar, in some ways, to time she spent with him when they were children – specifically, when they were lonely and upset because of the Captain’s absence. At that time, she writes, she and her brother (who is never identified by name) spent hours watching the film “Labyrinth,” not talking about their situation.
