Summary

In Chapter 15, Navid tells Shirin they are competing in the talent show. She is furious, saying she will make a fool of herself in front of the entire school, adding that she hates the school. Navid points out that “you kind of hate everything” (122). Shirin asks if the others are willing to do the competition. Though they are not as enthusiastic as Navid, they are not upset. Shirin thinks she is overreacting. Bijan does not understand why she is so upset. He sets out to teach her a backflip.
