Summary

This section of the guide focuses on pages 134-151. The Master and Raja leave Malgudi together peacefully, and the Master begins to teach the tiger about philosophy, religion, and pacifism. They walk a long way together over many days, through various towns and villages, and everywhere they go they are received with fear and confusion. They bring a halt to a religious procession and a riot, with the Master speaking to the assembled crowds each time. They finally set up camp beneath the mountains of Mempi Range, where Raja grew up.

The Master encourages Raja to spend his days on his own as he pleases, allowing him to explore his own limits and temptations.
