Summary
This section of the guide focuses on pages 66-99. Raja, now out of the circus show, falls out of favor with Captain. Captain calls for "rest and isolation" for Raja, which turns out to mean near starvation (66). Whilst standing by Raja's cage and contemplating the tiger, Captain is approached by a movie producer named Madan, who introduces himself and proposes using Raja in a movie (67). Captain consults Rita, who encourages him to open discussions with Madan about a filming contract. Their discussions take place over a period of several weeks, within which Madan finds Captain almost impossible to work with: he is rarely to be found around the circus, and his men refuse to schedule time for Madan to see him. Nevertheless after a period of perseverance, Madan manages to finalize a contract with Captain.
