Summary

The Epilogue takes place a month after the last chapter. Back then, Cady had lost her Talent, but she still continues to bake. Toby has inherited the emporium and turned the business around. He is working with Miss Mallory, who uses her talent to match things to people, helping customers have the right experience. Cady is able to cook the famous peanut butter and they begin selling that. The Ashers decide to stay, along with V. Mrs. Asher publishes a paper about how she found the hairpin, which is actually a piece of the fossil. Mrs. Asher and Zane have a long talk and she now understands why Zane has been acting out. She tells him that he is not worthless and that they are proud of him.
