Chapter 52

Marigold and Zane sneak into the convention center. Marigold spots The Owner trying to close in on Cady. Someone drops a book on Zane’s foot. He’s surprised to see that on the cover is V, now identified as Victoria Valence. V sees that Cady is in trouble and gets ready to pull the fire alarm.

Chapter 53

V is getting ready to pull the alarm. She meant to do it because of Toby, but now she is doing it because of The Owner (Mason). She thinks about the photo she took, and realizes that it was truly Caroline in the picture.
