Summary

Chapter 14

Will is searching through the emporium, trying to find his lost ferret. Instead, he stumbles upon The Owner. Will is surprised to find that The Owner isn’t floating.

Chapter 15

The Owner is in his room, unaware that Will is watching him. He’s pleased that he has finally found the last suitcase, after 53 years of searching. His room is filled with various jars. Whenever The Owner shakes hands with people, he steals their Talents and stores them in his room.

Chapter 14

This very short chapter serves to set up Will’s future adventure. Will is spying on Mason (The Owner). Attention is drawn to the fact that Mason isn’t using his Talent to float. This suggests that Mason had just stolen a Talent, since that’s the only other time he’s stopped levitating.
