Summary

Chapter 12

The mysterious merchant comes into the Emporium, bearing another rare suitcase, the last one that The Owner needs. The merchant reveals it was his air balloon that crashed last week. The Owner offers to buy the suitcase, taking every dollar he has out of the register to purchase it, which the merchant agrees to.

Chapter 13

Marigold is still searching for her Talent. She runs into V and manages to communicate to her enough, showing her the oboe that she has been practicing. Marigold reads the letter that talks about Zane having trouble at school, which is making things tense in the family.
