Chapters 12 & 13 Summary
David has business to attend to in Cardiff, so he takes all three children by bus to the bustling city. The kids are overwhelmed with everything there is to see and do and buy. David gives them all pocket money for the day and tells them to meet him on the steps of the National Museum at 3:00. After they part ways with their father, Jen, Peter, and Becky, make their way to the Cardiff Castle. After a small spat with Jen about whether or not King Arthur actually lived in a castle - Peter claimed the castle was build hundreds of years after King Arthur existed - the children explore the castle for a while and then head off to meet their father at the National Museum.
