Summary

Chapter 11 is titled “Mistaken Identity.” James noted the economy was difficult by the spring and summer of 2008, which had a trickle-down effect on people like James. A few who had become “regular” tippers told James they were worried about their jobs, and were therefore holding onto their money. The “Covent Guardians” had also become more serious about their roles and confronted James at least once a day. The Covent Garden tube station staff had also become more vocal in their dislike of James, though he was outside their jurisdiction. One afternoon, James was arrested.
