Chapter 64, Davos Summary

Davos Seaworth watches Melisandre do an evening prayer service. Davos is now part of a conspiracy, which leaves during the service. They go to Pylos's rooms, where he is teaching Edric Storm. Davos takes Edric and they help him onto one of Salladhor Saan's ships. Davos returns to meet with Stannis and Melisandre. He hears Melisandre tell Stannis that Joffrey is dead, but Stannis wants to get confirmation. Davos tells them that Joffrey is dead, and Melisandre says it is time to sacrifice Edric. Stannis agrees, and tells her he will kill her if she is wrong. Davos tells them Edric is already gone. Stannis gets ready to kill him, but Davos says a king must protect his people and pulls out a piece of paper.
