Chapter 35, Arya Summary

Arya and Gendry are blindfolded by Harwin and the other members of the Brotherhood without Banners. When the blindfolds are removed, they find themselves in a large cave. The mad Huntsman has also brought Sandor Clegane, an ally of the Lannisters, his captor. Sandor, also known as the Hound, antagonizes the other men, and when Lord Beric approaches, Sandor insults him. The brotherhood begins to list the people the Lannisters have killed in the war. Sandor says those deaths were not his fault personally. Arya tells them all how Sandor killed her friend, Mycah.

Lord Beric and Thoros decide Sandor will be tried by battle. Beric takes off his armor and shows his wounds from other attempts to kill him. He lights his sword on fire by running it across his hand, and he and Sandor fight. Beric manages to light...
