Chapter 21, Catelyn and Chapter 22, Jaime Summary

Catelyn watches as the bodies of Willem Lannister and Tion Frey are brought in before them. Robb calls in the men, led by Lord Rickard Karstark, who are responsible for the deaths. Karstark says he killed them because Robb did not do anything to Catelyn when she let Jaime Lannister go free. Robb tells Greatjon to hang the men, except for Lord Rickard, who is executed by Robb himself. Robb considers them traitors, and knows it may cause problems politically if he hangs them. He feels that there is no other honorable choice, however. Lord Rickard curses Robb as he dies. Edmure says he should try to keep the deaths a secret, but Robb thinks word has already gotten out.
