Summary

“Daisy Lane” follows a couple from America, Harold and Shira, who travel to an orphanage in India called Daisy Lane in order to adopt a child that they have decided to name Boone. Although Shira is very excited about the upcoming adoption, in part because she has grown tired of subsisting as Harold’s housewife, Harold sees more skeptical and distrusting of the orphanage’s headmaster, a man named Ravi. When they arrive at the orphanage, a young girl approaches them and begs them not to adopt Boone; Ravi explains that the young girl, Lila, is Boone’s sister. Though Harold insists that the episode is a ploy to convince them to adopt two children rather than one, Shira finds herself bothered by the love that Lila appears to have for Boone, and requests to spend a day...
