The Widow
The widow is an older woman who has recently lost her husband. She lives next door to a gay couple who warn her about the party they are hosting. The widow is concerned about her age and her relevance to society. It is as though the widow is undergoing an existential crisis in the wake of her husband’s death.
While the widow is not able to admit to her neighbors that she might want to be included in the party, the widow finds herself trying to crawl into the party. This leads to the widow becoming trapped in the shared wall between the neighbors. The widow wants to be seen. After she finds herself trapped in a way that she cannot escape on her own, the widow is seen by Maria who is in the party.
